“Charlotte” is and remains ‘Charlotte’, a classic with history. This Wolkenstricker cardigan has been around since the 1980s. Back then, it was still made from natural local sheep’s wool. From time to time, we receive letters from proud wearers who have inherited this cardigan in the 2nd or even 3rd generation.

The knitting pattern with the three-dimensional leaf tendrils and filigree plait structures has a long tradition, while the folkloristic stylized rose embroideries are composed by master artisans.

All in all, simply timelessly beautiful!

For a perfect and figure-optimized fit, the knitted structures are cleverly used or, as here, excluded at the sides, along the sleeve seam and under the embroidery.

Ein Lieblingsstück, das man nicht mehr hergibt und eben bestenfalls vererbt!

In the “Angelina” model, we deliberately used the wave shape of the pattern for shaping. A challenge to harmonize structures and cut. The result creates a wow effect that is stylistically reminiscent of a bodice. The embroidery picks up on the design language and looks like precious lace.

“Angelina” complements a delicate summer dress, but can also look great with trousers.

Sophisticated knitted details and the integrated waist ensure that the cardigan fits perfectly.

We knitted and appliquéd the blue edging to fit perfectly, and the ruffle knitting adorns the collar and the indicated pockets.

“Lissy” is a Wolkenstricker classic with the decorative border-like waistband and the figure-shaping diagonal V-shaped pattern transition at the front and back.

The neckline is slightly wider and can be worn with a flounce collar, silk scarf or simply without.

We base the development of each new collection on a specific theme.

In this case, it was visual shaping using lines, structures and color surfaces. It is important to harmonize the different patterns and their characteristics and to use them skilfully to ensure a good fit.

“Maggy” is a successful interpretation that we did not produce in series due to its complexity. It is unique!

“ Menuett” comes from the “Versailles” collection. A series of elaborate models with echoes of the Baroque style. Ornaments and textures are harmoniously combined to great effect and with the aim of using them sensibly, for example to create a slender silhouette, to emphasize the shoulder area, to stabilize hems, etc…

The embroidery imaginatively underlines this principle.
